The cost (if I'm not mistaken) is more because of the size of a piece. We had some framing done at Micheal's... It was a lot of money... But it's UV proof and glare free glass (they have a fancy name for it but I forget what it is). I've said if I ever get more framing done, it will be when Micheal's has their 50% off sale (which is like every other week it seems).

Professional Framing can be very expensive. If you don't want to go down old hat's road, you can always use a less expensive frame and upgrade later when funds are more available.

Darn right it would. I am extremely flattered to have such work and care (and money put into framing my artwork.

The most anyone has ever done before this was put it in a plastic sleeve and stick it a binder. And even that was after me asking to do so.

It's because of the size. They just don't make stock frames or mats for something that's 27" x 12". The only alternative would be to put it into three seperate frames and hang them in a line.

These are my one of a kind Shiri-chan originals. They deserve to be framed and displayed properly.

Good quality framing is not cheap. I've had several posters mounted over the years. I had them done at a framing shop and paid about 60 dollars each. I cant post pix of my Ultra rare Cool Devices posters. But this pix shows the Signed Gold Digger and Ninja Highschool posters I have hanging at my computer desk.

Due to AA and ArtPrize 2012, I am temporarily closing down my regular commissions until further notice. I'm sorry!!!!

I will still have three Commission-to-Print CTP) slots open.

Please make sure that your commission request deals with anime characters only; no OC's, no non-japanese video games, no other fandoms that are not anime, etc.

The anime convention I'll be attending is very strict in their policy regarding what can be sold at AA. Only anime/japanese video game artwork is allowed. Because of this I cannot offer CTP commissions for anything besides this.


I hate to do this. I absolutely hate it. I am so very grateful to all of you who have taken an interest (and a chance) on me, but I'm spreading myself too thin and there are important events coming up in the next few months that I've been neglecting.

AA is around the corner and I haven't even started my prints.

ArtPrize 2012 is on the way and I need to prepare for that. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me.


Once these things have passed, I'll be opening commissions back up. Until then, please consider the Commission-to-Prints as an option. There really is nothing different about the paper (except for a slight size difference), and you get your commission half off.

You'll be helping me out by giving me more ideas for prints, is all.

Also, just so everyone else knows, this basically is a special case commission that I'm honoring due to my policy on "no line art" for the CTP stuff was missing from my initial post. Vaikyuko didn't know this (no one did, unless you are on DA) and so like any good person, I made an exception to the rule because he caught my mistake. I have since amended my policies.

Please note that from this moment onward, only full:color bust and full:color full body commissions shall be accepted in this format. This is because these need to be print-friendly/ready commissions and no one would probably buy line art. Thank you for understanding
