1/11 Feature Film Announced

Shueisha has announced word that Takatoshi Nakamura’s soccer manga 1/11 (“Jyuichibun no Ichi”) will be adapted into a feature film. The manga revolves around a high school boy who decides to continue playing soccer after receiving encouragement from the ghost of a deceased childhood friend. The ongoing manga debuted in 2010 and presently has seven compiled volumes. Shueisha’s announcement did not clarify whether the movie will be live-action or animation.
