2007 Japan Media Arts Festival Award Winners Announced

The Japanese government’s Ministry of Cultural Affairs has named the winners of the 2007 11th annual Japan Media Arts Festival Awards. Director Keiichi Hara’s film Kappa no Coo to Natsuyasumi (“Summer Days With Coo”) was recognized as the year’s best anime while Mamora Goda’s “Mori No Asagao” was awarded the prize for best manga.
