2009 Pokemon Movie Announced

The official Japanese Pocket Monster Movies homepage has added a 30 second teaser trailer revealing the title, release date, and a first look at the 2009 movie that will conclude the storyline begun in the 2007 & 2008 films. Pocket Monster Diamond & Pearl: Chokoku no Jiku e (To the Conquest of Space and Time) will premiere on July 18, 2009. The trailer is available in

large, medium, and small Window Media and large, medium, and small QuickTime formats.

An alternate version of the trailer that includes an additional shot of Pikachu and Gizamimipichu is accessible by correctly picking “Gizamimipichu” (answer no. 1) on the trailer page’s quiz. The additional brief footage promotes the bonus short that will screen with the upcoming 12th Pokemon movie.
