3rd Annual Festival of International Fantasy, Horror, Anime & Science Fiction

The American Cinematheque will host the nearly month long 3rd Annual Festival of International Fantasy, Horror, Anime & Science Fiction at the Egyptian Theater located in Hollywood, California from August August 8 – 25. Highlights of the festival include theatrical screenings of anime films Ghost in the Shell and X (both in dubbed versions), a subtitled screening of Spriggan, and a screening of Sony’s official subtitled version of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie; and live action screenings including AD Vision’s subtitled print of Shurayuki-hime, Media Blasters’ subtitled print of Versus, a 20th anniversary screening of Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Kahn, Coffin Joe’s At Midnight I’ll Steal Your Soul, Umberto Lenzi’s Paranoia, Antonio Margheriti’s Castle of Blood, and Neil Marshall’s Dog Soldiers with post movie discussion with producer David Allen.
