4Kids Licenses Kirby

GameSpot has confirmed that 4Kids Entertainment has now officially licensed the Hoshi no Kirby anime television series for US release. The series, based on the popular pink Nintendo character that has appeared in 15 games including Super Smash Bros. Melee, will premier in America on the Fox Kids Network on September 14. The children’s show is a combination of traditional cel animation with CG and digital animation. The series premiered in Japan last October and is currently still on air in Japan with 31 episodes as of this week.
