New Anime Revealed

The Japanese Moon Phase message board has uncovered information on several upcoming anime productions.

CLAMP will provide character desgins for an upcoming Sunrise Studios mecha action anime series tentatively titled “Code Gears Hangyaku no Lelouch.”

Sunrise is also developing an action anime series titled “Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Iroha ni Hoheto” to be directed by Gasaraki and SPT Layzner director Takahashi Ryousuke.

Gonzo is reportedly developing an anime titled “Strike Witches” to be directed by Speed Grapher director Sugishima Kunihisa. Gonzo is also reportedly developing an anime re-make of Dario Argento’s classic suspense/horror film Susperia. The anime adaptation will be directed by Solty Rei director Hiraike Yoshimasa.

Moyoko Anno’s latest manga series Hatarakiman will be adapted into an anime TV series for broadcast as part of Fuji TV’s “Noitamina” series this fall.
