New Details on Maison Ikkoku Dorama Revealed

The Sankei Sports Newspaper has revealed that 29 year old actress Itou Misaki (“Hermes” in Densha Otoko) will play Kyoko Otonashi in the live action TV series adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi’s manga series Maison Ikkoku. Public auditions are now open for a “fresh” 20-24 year old male actor with little or no prior acting experience to play the role of Yusaku Godai.
