FUNimation Announces Dragonball Z Season Sets

FUNimation has announced plans to release the entire 291 episode Dragonball Z television series on remastered “season” DVD boxed sets beginning next February. The season sets will feature remastered video, selectable “revised English dialogue,” selectable original Japanese score with English dialogue, and bonus features. The trailer available on the official Dragon Ball Z website also reveals that the episodes will be cropped to widescreen.

The first season set will contain 39 episodes plus bonus features on 5 DVD discs and retail at $49.98 beginning February 6, 2007.
