Bang Zoom to Co-Produce AX Idol

Anime Expo has announced that this year’s AX Idol competition will be co-produced by ADR studio Bang Zoom! Entertainment. The competition will be hosted by voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch. All Anime Expo attendees are eligible to try-out for the competition. Ten finalists will be selected to participate in the live stage competition.

The voice acting grand prize winner will be invited to Bang Zoom! Studios where they will receive a tour, sit in on a recording session and have the chance to audition for an upcoming anime title.

The singing grand prize winner will be invited to record a demo with esteemed composer and American Idol music producer Chris Many. The Grand Prize Winner will also be given a chance to audition for future recordings as well as be invited to Bang Zoom! Studios where they will receive a tour and sit in on a recording session.
