FUNimation Announcements from Anime Expo

At this past weekend’s Anime Expo, FUNimation announced its acquisition of distribution rights to the Darker than BLACK, Jyu-Oh-Sei, and all of the Love Hina anime (which was formerly distributed in America by Bandai Entertainmnet).

FUNimation is reportedly in final negotiations for the acquisition of the XXXHOLiC television series, second season of the Tsubasa Chronicle television series, and the Negima!? (second TV series) anime.

Next year FUNimation will release uncut One Piece DVDs starting with season three, and the eighth One Piece motion picture (the “Alabaster” movie).
