Tokyopop Artist Wins International Manga Contest

Tokyopop has announced that American artist “Rem” has won Kodansha’s first Morning Internation Manga Competition with her comic story “Kage no Matsuri.” Rem will recieve a $5,000 cash prize, and “Kage no Matsuri” will appear in, and on the cover of the October issue of Morning2 Magazine.

The entry deadline for the 2nd Morning International Manga Competition is December 31st.
