Detroit Metal City Adaptations Announced?

The Japanese Moon Phase message board reports that upcoming issues of Young Animal manga magazine will reveal plans for an anime and live action film adaptation of Kiminori Wakasugi’s rock & roll parody manga series Detroit Metal City. However, Moon Phase also reports that the prematurely released announcement of these productions has been removed.
