Golgo 13 Anime TV Series Announced

Small text on the top corner of the cover of the January 10th issue of Japan’s Big Comic magazine reveals plans for an anime television series adaptation of Takao Saito’s long running action drama manga serial Golgo 13. Reportedly the new anime will premier next spring.

The Golgo 13 manga series, which began in 1968, currently has 147 collected volumes and is still ongoing, and has been adapted into two live action motion pictures in 1973 & 1977, an anime motion picture in 1983, and a 1998 anime OVA.
