Mike Mizuno Dead at 76

Japanese film critic, screenwriter, and director Haruo “Mike” Mizuno, passed away due to liver failure in a Tokyo hospital on Tuesday. He was 76. Mizuno wrote and directed the 1995 Siberian Express (Siberia Chotokkyu) mystery film which launched a successful film franchise. Last month Madhouse announced plans to develop a Siberian Express anime series.
