AD Vision News From Anime Expo

During this past weekend’s Anime Expo convention, AD Vision confirmed its separation from former financial partner Sojitz. As a result, distribution rights to 30 of ADV’s titles have been transferred to FUNimation. ADV has reportedly secured new financial backing and is negotiating for distribution rights to 23 new titles.

ADV Manga has no immediate plans to acquire new titles, but does hope to continue certain series which have already debuted in America.

ADV claims to be still persuing its effort to launch a live action Evangelion motion picture.
