New Details on 2008 Jump Super Anime Tour

The current issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine reports two new details on the touring Jump Super Anime Tour promotional event that will visit 10 Japanese cities from September 21 to November 23.

The One Piece short anime film exclusive to the tour will actually be the first anime adaptation of Romance Dawn, Eiichiro Oda’s “prototype” manga story in two chapters that introduced character Monkey D. Lufy and eventually evolved into One Piece.

The title of the publicity event’s new Dragon Ball Z short film will be “Ossu! Kaette Kita Son Goku to Nakamatachi!!” (Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!).

The remaining exclusive short anime films to be screened at the promotional event are Bleach, Blue Dragon, Letter Bee (Tegami-bachi), Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s.
