Onnanoko Monogatari Live Action Film Announced

The Yomiuri Sports Hochi Newspaper reports that a live action film adaptation of Rieko Saibara’s 2005 manga “Onnanoko Monogatari.” Actress Eri Fukatsu will portray a failed manga artist who struggles to regain purpose in her life. The film, directed by Toshiyuki Morioka, is scheduled for Japanese theatrical release next fall.
