New Details About Basquash Revealed

Reportedly the January 2009 issue of Newtype Magazine, which goes on sale in Japan on December 10th, reveals that Shoji Kawamori’s upcoming Basquash project will be animated by the Satelight (Kissdum, Macross Zero) anime studio. Kawamori has been credited as Basquash “Vision Creator.” Oban Star-Racers director Thomas Romain developed the conceptual designs for the Basquash robot characters and the production’s art direction. Shin Itagaki (Black Cat, Devil May Cry) will direct the lighthearted production about robots that play basketball.
