Bakemonogatari to Be 15 Episodes

The homepage for the new Bakemonogatari TV anime has added an interview with series director Akiyuki Shinbo and producer Atsuhiro Iwakami in which Shinbo states plans to animate 15 episodes with the first dozen airing on Japanese television and the final 3 probably streamed on the series homepage for free. The series’ first episode will premiere on the Tokyo MX network today.

Yes, there’s also two new trailers on the homepage, but they’re still teasers with no new footage. And the show does premiere today, after all.
