Sega has posted the release dates of the upcoming Naomi arcade titles:

June 20 – Virtual On Oratorio Tangram Version 5.66 (Sega)
July 20 – The King of Fighters 2000 (SNK)
August 3 – Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 (Capcom)

Capcom has reported record earnings for their last fiscal year with sales up by 34% thanks to their smash hit survival horror series. Bio-Hazard 3 sold 3.52 million copies, Dino Crisis sold 1.55 million, Bio-Hazard Code Veronica sold 730,000 copies and Bio-Hazard 2 for N64 sold 460,000 copies worldwide. Despite these profits, Capcom’s arcade department reported a loss of 2,000,000,000 yen due to the unpopular arcade game Spawn: In the Demon’s Hand.

Konami has stated that Silent Hill 2 will be a PlayStation 2 title and have an approximate release date of fall 2001.

In response to complaints about poor AI intelligence in the first PlayStation Metal Gear Solid, a full third of the processing power in the PlayStation Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty will be devoted to enemy behavior patterns and AI. The soldiers in MGS2 will also have military rank, which will affect the way they think and search.
