Anime Fan has translated the Newtype Magazine article about the upcoming Ah! My Goddess movie, planned for release this fall at “Shouchiku” in Japan. The film will take a deeper look at the characters that viewers of the OAV series have grown to love. Keiichi is trying to attract new members to the Nekomi motor club, but has problems with people being attracted to the goddess Belldandy and not racing. At a party being thrown to welcome four new members, the normally quiet and shy Sora Hasegawa gets drunk and hits on Keiichi. When bottles begin to fly around, Belldandy’s jealousy is suspected. In the movie, the new goddess Operetta, the systems manager for the “Earth Assistance Center,” joins Peorth as a rival to the goddesses known to OAV watchers. Tickets will cost 1600 yen for adults, and 1300 yen for students with a poster premium, and 3000 yen for adults and 2700 yen for students with a Belldandy phone card.
