WMT Anime Hits YouTube
Nippon Animation has launched a YouTube channel, offering first episodes and sample footage from 27 of its classic anime television series. Most of the titles are series from the World Masterpiece Theater (WMT) franchise or similar adaptations of classic world literature, including Anne of Green Gables, Dog of Flanders, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Adventures of Peter Pan, Little Lord Fauntleroy, and Swiss Family Robinson. However, some of the titles offered are more conventional and less literary, including Mahoujin Guru Guru and Soreike! Zukkoke Sanningumi. All of the episodes and samples are streamed in original Japanese language with no translation.
