I am OVERJOYED with this news. I am a SUPER HYPER MEGA HUGE fan of anything related to Anne Shirley. I have read the books, watched nippon animation 179 adaptation of Montgomery’s first book, of course I did read ALL books, expect the before green gables one. Loved last year’s Before Green Gables anime despite inconsistencies here and there.
If you are in Tokyo or if you go sometime and you are a big fan of this series and/or nippon animation masterpieces you MUST check the Tokyo character street located in the basement of tokyo station, between several stores, where animation studios or tv stations have shops related to anime evidently and their series, you will find the rascal shop = nippon animation shop! If you want something from this studio and/or their world masterpiece theater series this is maybe -not sure- the only place to go, at least I didn’t find anything in Akihabara or other anime hot spots, aside from a couple -literally- figurines of Flanders no Inu anime in Nakano Broadway.
