Opening A Day
To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, the perfect beginning of a summer weekend is the second opening from 1996’s Kodomo no Omocha television series. “Ultra Relax” is sung by Tomoe Shinohara (who is the first stone statue to fall at the end of the video).

This opening really captured the essence of fun and humor from the show. Excellent choice.
It’s too bad that this was the only opening released stateside due to the licensing issues around the first OP song (not to mention dozens of other instances throughout the series).
I don’t think that Tokio OP is all that. Just another band like the one for M7 which thinks it’s the tits because it makes big bank in Japan, when it’d totally die in the U.S.
