Anime on DVD has received a follow-up from John Sirabella of Media Blasters regarding speculation on the delay of the second Rurouni Kenshin TV series DVD. As expected, the disc is going through extra checks to ensure its quality. While retailers are being given a date of September 12th for it’s release, Mr. Sirabella is hoping to get it out before then. Media Blasters intends to make December a DVD month for themselves. They’ve got four titles planned on release on December 12th: Demon Fighter Kocho, Gestalt, Fake and Gappa. They’re also planning to do something similar in January. A poll has been started to assist Media Blasters in determining which titles fans want to see them release on DVD next. A DVD box set for the second season of Magic Knights Rayearth is planned for a March/April timeframe next year.
