New Blood Projects

Following on the heels of the Blood: The Last Vampire theatrical film, Sony has announced two other elements of the multimedia “Blood Project.” The novel Blood: The Last Vampire – Animal, to be published by Kadokawa Shoten this October, tells of events taking place in Tokyo in 1969, three years after the events of the movie. Mamoru Oshii is writing the novel and character designer Katsuya Terada will be providing illustrations. Blood: The Last Vampire for the Playstation 2 will be out in Japan on December 21st from Sony Computer Entertainment. The game, set in the present time, focuses on a 17 year old boy who has the blood of the Shadow Ninja in his body. A vampire has awakened and begun feeding on him. The game will feature a multiple path plot lines to navigate and exclusive animation sequences.
