Anime A-Go-Go Festival

The UCLA Film & Television Archives will be sponsoring a special anime film festival titled Anime A-Go-Go Today, October 26th, Tuesday the 31st, and Saturday November 4th at the UCLA James Bridges Theater.

Tonight will be screenings of Jubei-chan: Secret of Lovely Eyepatch episode 3 and the Utena movie.

On Halloween, Urban Vision will sponsor a premier screening of the new Vampire Hunter D film, followed by an untranslated 35mm print of Mamoru Oshii’s classic Angel’s Egg.

November 4th will see the American premiers of the subtitled versions of Angel Links episode 1 and Mobile Suit Gundam: MS 08th Team OAVs 1-3, and presentations of Tenamonya Voyagers OAV 1 and Cowboy Bebop episode 5.

Free copies of the Vampire Hunter D Special Edition DVD (the original movie) will be given out as prizes at the Vampire Hunter D new movie screening!
