|Dragon Quest Monsters 2 for the Color Gameboy will actually be two games, a boy and girl version: Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Mysterious Key of Martha- Ruka’s Journey and Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Mysterious Key of Martha- Adventure of Iru. The games will have exclusive monsters, items and characters and will be linkable. The games are scheduled for Japanese release on March 20 for 6400 yen each.
Square has announced WonderSwan Color versions of Final Fantasy 2 & 3, Front Mission, Romancing Saga, and the card battle RPG Wild Card. In Wild Card, everything is presented as a playing card, including characters, weapons, magic, techniques and dungeons. Players create a group of 5 character cards to explore dungeons and battle enemies.
Enterbrain is working on a new game in the successful Fire Emblem series that appeared on the Famicom and Super Famicom. Emblem Saga, due out sometime next year for the Playstation, will continue the Fire Emblem tradition of strategic, tactical role-playing.
Konami has announced that Hideo Kojima’s highly anticipated mecha shooting adventure RPG game Zone of the Enders will debut on the Playstation 2 on March 1st. The game will come with a bonus playable demo of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Sega Hitmaker is developing a new Dreamcast cooperate simulation game called Segagaga. In this game players become the CEO of Sega Enterprises and strive to become the leader of the international video game business. The game will be a D-Direct exclusive, meaning that it will only be available through the Japanese Dreamcast online store.
