Discotek to Distribute Gamecenter CX

Discotek has announced plans to release a bilingual 12-episode DVD collection of the long-running Japanese live-action reality TV program “Retro Game Master” (Gamecenter CX). In each weekly episode commedian Shinya Arino attempts to beat a vintage video game, usually within the span of a single day. The show premiered in 2003 and is now in its 15th season. Discotek will release the 12 selected episodes that were officially streamed on video game news website Kotaku last year. The DVD release is tentatively scheduled for this summer.
