New Info on Ghost in the Shell 2 Limited Box

Our suppliers in Tokyo have informed us that Kodansha Publishing is heavily restricting the distribution of the upcoming Ghost in the Shell 2 (manga) Solid Box collector’s edition boxed set. Kodansha accepted pre-orders for the 13,333 yen boxed set from individual, private customers through the internet in Japan, but has not been cooperative with Japanese wholesalers and retailers wishing to stock and carry the limited edition item. At the present time, we still do not have a concrete release date for the limited edition package, nor do we know if we will be able to obtain any copies of this boxed set. AnimeNation will attempt to import any copies of this collectable that become available to us, but the odds of us being able to get any copies of this boxed set look pretty slim.
