First Nyaruko-san Footage

A recent episode of the Anison Plus television program aired a 15 second promotional spot for next month’s Haiyore! Nyaruko-san television series, along with an interview with the series’ cast. Unlike the previous two Flash anime adaptations of Manta Aisora’s light novel series about Cthulhu Mythos monsters appearing in Japan as cute teen girls, the new TV series is animated by XEBEC in traditional anime. The show will premiere on April 9 and will stream internationally on Crunchyroll.

Really want to like this, but I don’t see any forks, and this still looks far more conventional and uninteresting than the prior two Flash anime adaptations.
