Live-Action GTO Remake Announced

EXILE band member Akira will star in a new live-action remake of the 1998 TV drama based on Tohru Fujisawa’s 1997 comedy manga GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka. The 12-episode 1998 TV series remains one of Japan’s most-watched ever television series. The new adaptation will premiere in July.
