Sentai Announces Multiple Acquisitions
Sentai Filmworks has formally announced its acquisition of fourteen new anime titles:

The Arcana Famiglia ~La storia della Arcana Famiglia~ reverse-harem TV series premiered in Japan yesterday. Crunchyroll is presently simulcasting the show. Sentai will stream the series after Crunchyroll then release it on domestic home video next year.
The Campione! TV anime will officially premiere in Japan on the 6th. The series will simulcast on Crunchyroll before being released digitally by Sentai. A home video release will follow next year.
The Dakara Boku-ha, H ga Dekinai (So, I Can’t Play H!) television series will premiere on Japanese TV on the 6th. The series is licensed for initial streaming distribution by Crunchyroll. Sentai will stream the series after Crunchyroll then release it on domestic home video next year.
The 12-episode Detroit Metal City OVA series was released in Japan in 2008. Sentai will release the series digitally “soon” with a subtitled DVD release to follow.
Sentai has supplemented its license for the Hakuouki anime franchise with this month’s prequel TV series Hakuoki Reimeiroku. The series will formally premiere in Japan on the 9th. Sentai will stream the series then release it on bilingual home video next year.
Sentai has confirmed its acquisition of streaming and home video distribution rights to last season’s Hiiro No Kakera: Shin Tamayori Hime Denshou TV series.
The 2007 Idolm@ster Xenoglossia TV series will be released digitally then on subtitled DVD later this year.
The Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita TV series premiered yesterday and is simulcasting on Crunchyroll. Sentai Filmworks will stream the series and release it on home video later this year.
Sentai will supplement its license of the first Kyokai Senjo no Horizon TV series with this month’s sequel series Kyokai Senjo no Horizon II. The series is initially licensed for streaming distribution by Crunchyroll. Sentai will stream the series after Crunchyroll then release it on DVD and Blu-ray next year.
The 2008 Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora (Things That Are Important to a Mage ~Summer Sky~) TV series is a loose sequel to the 2003 Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto TV series previously license-rescued by Sentai from Geneon. The 12-episode series will be released digitally then on subtitled DVD later this year.
Last year’s Mayo Chiki! comedy TV series will be released digitally then on subtitled DVD later this year.
Natsuyuki Rendezvous will premiere on Japanese TV on the 5th. The show will initially simulcast on Crunchyroll. Sentai will stream the series after Crunchyroll then release it on home video next year.
Sentai has confirmed that its license for the 2010 Seikon no Qwaser TV series includes both seasons and the OVA. The risqué fantasy action series will be released uncut digitally then on subtitled DVD later this year.
Uchuu Kyodai (Space Brothers) has been streaming on Crunchyroll since its April 2012 premiere. Sentai will stream the series and release it on home video later this year.

So… much… anime… so which of these would you consider the best of the lot? As someone who follows the Japanese TV schedule regularly, are there any surprises in here? (or from FUNi, for that matter)
Amusing that the Seikon no Qwaser announcement comes less than a week after you had that Ask John article about fanservice licenses.
Are we so spoiled with some licenses today being announced before a show even finishes its broadcast run (or premiers, with some of these titles), that we assume there’s little hope for a license if more than a year passes? Am I now dating my fandom when remembering times the latter was the norm?
The first episode of Campione! was better than I expected it to be, but it still doesn’t promise to be a masterpiece. Uchuu Kyodai gets a lot of respect, but it seems to me to be just an ordinary live-action drama that happens to be filmed in animation instead of live-action. Natsuyuki Rendezvous may turn out to be something special, but at this point, it hasn’t premiered yet.
None of these Sentai acquisitions really stand out as exceptional, so far, but only Arcana Famiglia & Kyokai Senjo no Horizon seem to be really bad shows.
Out of the Anime Expo licenses, Right Stuf is the real winner with all three of its title announcements being top shelf excellent shows.
