A press representative for Funimation and Irwin Toys has confirmed for AnimeNation that, while the possibility of a cable television broadcast is still in consideration, FUNimation is focusing their strategy on releasing Blue Gender directly to home video. For those who are unfamiliar with this violent sci-fi mecha/action TV series, original production AIC Studios has the opening animation clip available for download in Realplayer format.
