Hamamatsu to Sponsor an Anime Film

The second feature film sponsored by the Shizuoka Prefecture’s “Mina no Mori Project” will be an anime film production based in Hamamatsu city. Veteran anime director Taku Sugiyama (Phoenix 2772, Wonder Three) will write and direct “Mina no Mori no Kanna-sensei.” The anime film will provide practical training for novice professional animators & voice actors. Sugiyama & veteran animator Kazumi Sakai will supervise the animators producing the film. Veteran voice actress Fuyumi Shiraishi will supervise the film’s voice cast. The movie will tentatively premiere in December.
