Maiden Japan Acquires Shinigami no Ballad

Maiden Japan has announced domestic release plans for the 2006 television mini-series Shinigami no Ballad. The six-episode anime series based on K-Ske Hasegawa & Nanakusa’s light novel series revolves around an especially empathetic grim reaper who helps console the newly departed. Maiden Japan will release the series digitally & on bilingual DVD under the title “Momo, Girl God of Death ~ Ballad of a Shinigami.”

This was a nice little series, and nice to see it finally reaching America.
