Bad Boys Drama to Premiere in April

Kento Nakajima, lead singer of the idol group Sexy Zone, has announced that he will star in a live-action TV series based on Hiroshi Tanaka’s juvenille delinquent comedy manga Bad Boys. The Bad Boys J television series will premiere on April 6. The original 1988-1996 manga series, its 1993-1998 OVA adaptation, and its 2011 live-action feature film revolved around a rich & privileged high school boy who rejects his parents in order to join a biker gang. The new TV series will be set later when the protagonist has become the leader of the “Paradise Butterflies” biker gang.
