Maiden Japan Announces License Rescues
|Maiden Japan has acquired the distribution rights to the Mobile Police Patlabor television series, Ruin Explorers OVA series, and Black Magic M-66 OVA.
AD Vision previously distributed the 1995 four-episode Ruin Explorer Fam & Ihrlie OVA series on domestic VHS & DVD. Maiden Japan will re-release the series on domestic DVD on July 2.
US Renditions & Manga Entertainment previously distributed the 1987 Black Magic M-66 OVA on bilingual VHS & DVD. Maiden Japan will re-release the episode on subtitled-only DVD on July 9.
Maiden Japan announced its distribution rights to the original seven-episode Patlabor OVA series last January. Maiden Japan will begin releasing the 47-episode television series from 1989 on domestic bilingual DVD & Blu-ray on July 16. Central Park Media initially released the TV series on American VHS in 2002.

Awesome news! I missed Black Magic and Patlabor. Great to see these titles are coming out again. Ruin Explorer was also a fun show. Not really all that hard to get, but to have it active on the market again is a plus!
