KyoAni to Animate Kyokai no Kanata

Kyoto Animation has revealed plans to animate Nagomu Torii’s dark fantasy novel Kyokai no Kanata. The novel earned an honorable mention award in the 2011 Kyoto Animation Awards competition. The studio published the first volume of the half-human high school students suspense/action novel last year and also produced a promotional 30-second anime ad for the title last year:
