Early Word on DoA3

Tomonobu Itagaki, head of game development studio Team Ninja, told Japanese video game magazine Arcadia that his company is already at work on Dead or Alive 3, although a platform for the game has not yet been determined. He stated that DoA 2 was developed on the Naomi hardware not for ease of conversion to the Dreamcast but because the Naomi hardware was the most powerful arcade hardware at the time. He stated that Team Ninja’s priority is on arcade development and that Team Ninja is not “developing any Naomi-based titles now, but…[is] very interested in the Naomi 2.”
