Hentai Con?

Anime fan Brad Jackson has posted a site in search of assistance in coordinating the first American “HentaiCon.” No tentative date has been suggested for the endeavour, but possible locations including Dallas, Texas and Denver, Colorado have been mentioned. The convention would deal with adult-oriented and pornographic anime and would be open exclusively to attendees over the age of 18. While hentai anime may carry some social stigmata in the West, adult anime and manga is generally considered nothing more than one of many different genres of anime in Japan. Many mainstream bookstores and video game shops in Japan carry adult anime and manga on their shelves right next to mainstream all-ages merchandise, and hentai doujinshi shops occupy stores next-door to electronics shops, bookstores and convenience markets.
