Sakasama no Patema Full Trailer Released

A full theatrical trailer for director Yasuhiro Yoshiura’s (Pale Cocoon, Time Eve of Eve) new film Sakasama no Patema ~ Patema Inverted has appeared on Youtube. The fantasy romance film was originally scheduled for a theatrical release last fall. The movie will now open on November 9.

I’m guessing that it’s pure coincidence that this movie appears to be nearly identical to last year’s live-action Canadian sci-fi/fantasy/romance film Upside Down. Even the trailers for Sakasama no Patema and Upside Down begin with a nearly identical shot.
