Tonari no Seki-kun Teasers Released
The homepage for next January’s Tonari no Seki-kun television series has added a pair of teaser trailers. Shinei Animation’s adaptation of Takuma Morishige’s gag comedy manga revolves around a schoolboy who occupies his time in school by creating elaborate desktop projects.

These two trailers seem to evoke the manga quite faithfully, so I hope the full episodes manage to maintain the absurd humor of the situations so wonderfully portrayed in the manga. I’m definitely looking forward to the anime series, but I wish the manga original would be picked up for official release in the U.S.
