New Details on Funimation Licenses

We’ve received some interesting but very tentative details on Funimation’s plans for Dragonball, Blue Gender and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Beginning with the Dragonball Z “World Tournament saga,” which premiers on home video in May, the DBZ home video releases will be simultaneously released on VHS and DVD. Episodes 14-19 of original Dragonball will hit home video sometime in June. August is set as the tentative release date for Dragonball Z movie 4, and movie 5 is currently scheduled for release in October.

Blue Gender will come to home video on VHS and DVD in late June, in an uncut version only. The Yu Yu Hakusho TV series will be debut on home video early this fall (September or October most likely) on VHS and DVD in TV edit and uncut versions.
