DiscoTek Reveals New License Rescues
|DiscoTek has revealed its acquisition of the 1989 first Lupin III television special, Lupin III: Bye Bye Liberty Crisis. The feature-length special has never been officially released in America before. DiscoTek will release the TV movie on domestic DVD next year.
DiscoTek has also revealed its acquisition of domestic distribution rights to the 1994 DNA² television series, the 1992 & 1993 Garou Densetsu (“Fatal Fury”) TV specials, and the 1993 Dragon Half OVA series. Central Park Media originally released the 15-episode DNA² sci-fi romance/adventure series on domestic VHS & DVD. Viz Media initially released the two Fatal Fury “OVAs” on domestic VHS & DVD. AD Vision previously distributed the Dragon Half OVA series on domestic VHS & DVD. Dragon Half will be re-released on domestic DVD next year. DNA² and the Fatal Fury OVAs will also be re-released next year, though their release formats have yet to be confirmed.
