Super Sonico Anime Announced

While Hatsune Miku has yet to receive her own anime, Nitroplus’s mascot character Super Sonico will get an anime TV series in January. WHITE FOX (Steins;Gate, Katanagatari) is animating the series with Black Lagoon & Tenjho Tenge episode director Kenichi Kawamura directing. The Sonico character was created by Tsuji Sanada and made her public debut on October 14, 2006. Sonico is voiced by Ayano Yamamoto. Since her debut, Sonico has starred in a variety of manga series, video games, a radio show, and has been immortalized in a massive variety of collectable goods.
