Rowan “Mr. Bean” Atkinson will partner with Jackie Chan in Chan’s next feature, The Highbinders, which is scheduled to begin production in July.

Tsui Hark’s latest film, Time & Tide, is scheduled for American theatrical release by Columbia Tristar. The film will debut in New York City in May then move to national release in June.

Toho has acquired to rights to Daiei’s short-lived but well-respected Daimajin kaiju franchise and intends to create a new Daimajin movie.
