Kin Kyori Renai Live-Action Movie Announced

Live-action Kimi ni Todoke director Naoto Kumazawa is presently developing a live-action feature film based on Rin Mikimoto’s shoujo manga Kin Kyori Renai. The 10-volume manga serialized from 2008-2011 depicts a romantic relationship that develops between an aloof, handsome high school teacher and one of his brilliant female students. Actor & pop star Tomohisa Yamashita (Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Ashita no Joe) will star as teacher Haruka Sakurai. TV commercial actress Nana Komatsu will make her feature debut playing student Yuni Kururugi. The movie is scheduled to premiere on October 11.
