Miramax Studios has bought the US distribution rights to Tsui Hark’s CG-heavy fantasy movie, The Legend of Zu, sequel to the famous Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain, and Sammo Hung’s latest dramatic martial arts film “Flying Dragon, Leaping Tiger.”

Kinji (director of the controversial hit film Battle Royal) Fukasaku’s next project is a game! He will direct Clock Tower 3, a popular horror game by Capcom for the Playstation (1 or 2?). This is Fukasaku’s first venture as a game director. Right now he is looking for a lead actress for motion capturing purposes. The total budget for Clock Tower 3 is much higher than Battle Royal, which only cost about 4 million dollars.
